Jessie Ware

Jessie Ware is writing about how much she misses people for her second album.

The 'Wildest Moments' singer is preparing to go into the studio to work on new material, but warns some of it could be a little sad as she's been away from her family and friends on tour for so long.

She told the Daily Star newspaper: "I'm writing new songs about missing people and being away a lot but isn't that what everyone's second albums are about?

"I hope I can give a fresh insight on it because [debut album] 'Devotion' was writing about classic subjects too."

Jessie also plans to write with the same people she recorded her first album with, which included Julio Bashmore, Dave Okumu and Kid Harpoon.

She added: "I'll have the same team of writers and producers around me.

"I might branch out with some extra people, but I work best when I know I'm with people who are supportive and work well with me."

'Devotion' was a huge hit with critics, and was nominated for the 2012 Mercury Prize and also included in the British Breakthrough Act category at the BRIT Awards 2013. Jessie also received the Best Newcomer trophy at the Nordoff Robbins Silver Clef Awards earlier this year.
