Willow Smith is making her comeback with new single 'Summer Fling'.

The 12 year-old star - daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith - has released a video for the track, taken from her new Melodic Chaotic EP, which is set for release later this summer.

Bizarrely, Willow speaks in an English accent throughout the song, and the video sees her offering her phone number to a boy, frolicking with friends at a pool party and dancing around a campfire.

The video has already received over 100,000 YouTube hits, and features a cameo from Willow's older brother, 15-year-old Jaden.

The comeback will surprise most fans as Willow "quit" music after the success of her 2011 debut single 'Whip My Hair', which reached number two in the UK charts and landed her a deal with Jay-Z's Roc Nation label.

Her father Will suggested earlier this year she had quit the music industry after turning down the lead role in the re-make of 'Annie', also helmed by Jay.

He explained: "Willow had such a difficult time on tour with 'Whip My Hair' and she said, 'You know Daddy, I don't think so'. She looked at me and said, 'Daddy, I have a better idea. How about I just be 12?' "
