Corinne Bailey Rae made her first concert appearance since her husband's drug overdose death in March, 2008 at a gig in London on Monday night.
The Put Your Records On singer performed tracks from her new album, The Sea, at the Tabernacle, and was treated to a standing ovation from fans as she took the stage.
One screamed, "We missed you!" prompting Bailey Rae to respond, "I missed you too."
Bailey Rae played a brief set at charity Mencap's Little Noise Sessions at London's Union Chapel on 19 November, but Monday's show marked her full live comeback.
