Who would have thought that the baby-faced Pop Idol finalist would one day be a dad? Not me, that’s for sure, but it’s true, he and his wife Suzanne are celebrating the birth of their first child.
Suzanne delivered a baby girl, called Missy, early on Monday, in a statement, thrilled dad Gates, 24, says, "We are so excited. Missy is beautiful and we can't wait to spend time together as a family."
He released three studio albums, with limited success, before making the switch to musical theatre - and is currently starring in the West End version of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
