Jessica Simpson Won’t Work With Britney

Jessica Simpson is now denying reports that she approached Britney Spears to appear in her new TV sitcom.

The Dukes of Hazzard star wanted Spears to team up with her for a comedy comparable to beloved funny series Laverne & Shirley, according to U.S. tabloid the Globe.

But Simpson's father/manager Joe has taken to social networking website Twitter.com to brush off the claims.

He writes: "Rumour incorrect... no jess-brit show.. luv (sic) brit.. just no show."
