Yoko Ono, wife of former Beatles member John Lennon, has spoken about her last moments with the singer before he died.
Ono spoke to a British TV documentary company about how they decided not to stop for a meal because Lennon wanted to spend time with their son Sean who was five years old at the time. Ono said, fighting back tears, speaking of the last moments with Lennon said: “When we were in the car, I said: “shall we go to a restaurant or something before we go home?” He said: “No, I want to see Sean before he goes to sleep.” John Lennon was shot by fan Mark Chapman on 8 December 1980.
