Justin Timberlake is to star as the founder of social networking site Facebook in a new movie, according to reports.

The SexyBack singer will play Facebook founding president Sean Parker, according to Daily Variety.

Adventureland star Jesse Eisenberg and The Other Boleyn Girl actor Andrew Garfield have also been lined up to star in the project, which starts filming in Boston, Massachusetts next month.

The film will focus on the success of Facebook, which was created in 2004. It currently has more than 300 million members worldwide.
