Kylie Minogue To Tour America

Kylie Minogue has announced her first North American tour with stops at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom and Los Angeles' famed Hollywood Bowl.

The Australian pop superstar has line up six dates for the autumn, which will start with a show in Oakland, California at the end of September.

She says, "I've wanted to tour in America and Canada for years and know that fans have been waiting a long time for this. I'm thrilled that the opportunity has finally arrived."

Minogue's recent KyleX2008 tour visited 21 countries and raked in an estimated $70 million (£48.3 million) in ticket sales, according to Billboard.com.
