New Universal-digital signings OSKAR will be releasing their brand new 4-track EP 'Rerun' as a digital-only download on 23rd January 2005.An acclaimed collaboration between former Collapsed Lung bassist and fine artist Jonny Dawe and former Strangelove keyboard player and soundtrack composer Nick Powell, OSKAR is a project that knows no creative bounds.With last year's debut mini album 'Air Conditioning' introducing their ethereal dream-pop to a salivating new audience, OSKAR have quickly established themselves as one of Britain's true pioneers of expansive, intelligent progressive rock/ electronica.
'Rerun' is a bewitching, atmospheric EP. Swaying from twitching psychedelia to gushing urban soundscapes, it's a collage of rich sonic adventure that draws to mind influences as wide and varied as Can, Pixies and Godspeed You Black Emperor!
