Robbie Williams looks set to be presented with an Outstanding Contribution to Music Award at next year's Brit Awards, it has been announced today.

Te star, who has made an awesome comeback with his new single Bodies, have proven to the world that he doesn’t need to be in a pop band (or in rehab) to make something of his music career, and after watching him at the BBC Electric Proms on Tuesday night,  I’ve got to agree.

Personally, we can’t think of anyone who deserves the prize more, after all, Robbie has been through a lot to get where he is today, and he does seem like a rather charming fellow to boot.

Robbie will perform a live medley of his hits at the awards on 16 February and I’ve got to admit, I’m just a teeny bit excited! We can’t forget that this isn’t the first Brit that Robbie will be taking home for his mantelpiece, as she’s already won 15 of the little men!

Yay for Robbie!
