What do Uma Thurman's phone number, a "pig man", a coffee table book about coffee tables, man-breasts and a chase in a white Ford Bronco have in common? They are all part of the famous and hilarious storylines which feature in the fifth and sixth seasons of the "greatest TV show ever" (US TV Guide), Seinfeld.Released on DVD on 28th November 2005, courtesy of Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, Seinfeld Seasons 5 and 6 will be available in two four-disc box sets (RRP £34.99 each), and are packed with 26 hours of amazing special features including all new interviews with the cast, never before seen deleted scenes, featurettes, blooper reels, episode commentaries and guest appearances from Courtney Cox, Bette Midler and Jon Voight, these releases are a must-own for all fans of the Golden Globe and Emmy winning comedy series. There's a total of 46 classic episodes of the show about nothing including some of the fans' favourites such as The Opposite in which Kramer's coffee table book lands him on TV show "Live with Regis and Kathie Lee",The Marine Biologist in which Jerry bumps into an old college friend and claims that George is now a marine biologist who specialises in whales, the hilarious The Puffy Shirt, in which Jerry unwittingly promises to wear a very frilly shirt on national TV to promote a charity benefit (the actual shirt is now on display in Washington's Smithsonian Museum as part of an American Popular Culture Icons exhibit!), The Switch in which Kramer's first name is revealed and The Doorman in which Kramer invents a male bra – the bro – for George's Dad.

In season 6, Seinfeld also celebrates its 100th episode with a special, two part "clip show" episode which looks back at the moments that have defined the show including George's sexual liaison with a cleaning woman, Elaine's pesky "red dot", Kramer's efforts to save a severed toe and Jerry's collaboration with George on a sitcom pilot about nothing! To close the special 100th episode Jerry, George, Elaine and Kramer look back on some of their most "sensitive" moments including an encounter with the Bubble Boy, a miraculous slip of a Junior Mint and the shocking surprise revealed by an accidental fire at a friend's cabin.

The eagerly awaited seasons will also be released together in a brilliant box set (RRP £64.99) and as a limited edition gift set that includes a script and an imitation miniature puffy shirt in a display case (RRP £79.99).

Created by Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David, SEINFELD first aired on British television in 1993 on BBC2 and quickly built up a cult following attracting audiences in excess of 500,000. Starring Jerry Seinfeld (Jerry), Jason Alexander (George), Michael Richards (Kramer) and Julia Louis Dreyfus (Elaine), the series is often quoted as being "about nothing" when in reality has some of the most complex plots and sharpest writing that TV comedy has ever seen.
