From the studio that brought you the Academy Award®-winning* Shrek comes the $300 million worldwide smash hit, Shark Tale, released on DVD and VHS in major territories around the world beginning in February 2005, from DreamWorks Home Entertainment. Shark Tale will be released in the UK on February 11th 2005. Buoyed by the most incredible cast ever assembled for an animated movie and an unique hip-hop soundtrack, Shark Tale opened atop the U.K and Ireland box-office charts “reeling in” more than £7.5 million – placing the fish story’s opening weekend second only to the record-shattering Shrek 2 in DreamWorks’ record books and making it one of the year’s top 10 best debut weekends. Shark Tale swam on to retain the top spot of the charts for three weeks running and has taken a fantastic £22,800,000 to date.

Baiting fans with even more movie hailed as “top-class entertainment” (Johnny Vaughan, The Sun), DreamWorks Animation created “Club Oscar,” an all-new surprise ending available exclusively for the home viewing audience. Like the hugely popular brand new DVD segments featured on Shrek and Shrek 2, “Club Oscar” brings back the original voice talent and all the favourite Shark Tale characters “gettin’ fishy with it” in an uproarious never-before-seen dance party segment.

Featured on both the DVD and VHS, Club Oscar also invites viewers to take a “spin with the fishes” through a special interactive component in which Nadine “Hi-Hat” Colquhon, famed choreographer to the stars including Shark Tale’s Missy Elliot, provides step-by-step dance instructions. The Shark Tale DVD is loaded with fun-filled bonus programs featuring music, games and something for every fish in the sea. The Shark Tale DVD is priced at £22.99 (RRP) and £14.99 (RRP) for the VHS.
