Simple Plan - MTV Hard Rock Live

Kerrang!Simple Plan are set to release their first ever live album, MTV Hard Rock Live, on October 3 through Lava/Atlantic Records. Along with the entire live show, recorded earlier this year at the Hard Rock Café venue in Orlando, the album includes a newly-recorded version of 'Crazy', and live video footage of three songs from the gig. Simple Plan also release their new single 'Untitled' on September 26, the second track to be taken from the band's acclaimed Bob Rock-produced second album Still Not Getting Any…. The song is a very personal look at what happens when tragedy hits close to home, accompanied by a powerful and hard-hitting video that was nominated for two MTV Video Music Awards.It has been an incredible year for Simple Plan, both in the UK and abroad. In February this year, Simple Plan played four sold-out dates to capacity crowds in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow, and the band are due to return to our shores early next year for further headline shows. Over in the US, Simple Plan went out on a massive co-headline tour with Good Charlotte in May, band frontman Pierre Bouvier has been fronting the new MTV series 'Damage Control', and the band are now gearing up for a huge coast-to-coast US tour this autumn. Simple Plan is Pierre Bouvier (vocals), Chuck Comeau (drums), David Desrosiers (bass, backing vocals), Sebastien Lefebvre (guitar, backing vocals) and Jeff Stinco (lead guitar). In the last two years the band have shared the stage with everyone from Avril Lavigne to Aerosmith, made appearances on the Vans Warped Tour for three years running (two as headliners), and been nominated for four MTV Video Music Awards - not bad for five kids who used to tour in their parents' station wagon.
