Stephen Gately Died From Heart Failure

Stephen Gately’s autopsy report confirmed today that the Boyzone star died from heart failure.

According to reports, the 33 year old popstar had an undiagnosed heart condition at the time of death, and it was this which caused him to collapse after a night out in Majorca on October 10.

The condition, which is known as atheromatosis, causes the arteries to thicken, but it is thought that Stephen being ‘very drunk’ after a night out with partner Andy Cowles and gay student Georgi Dochev was not a contributing factor in his death.

Tragically, it has also emerged that Stephen’s partner Andy had slept next to Stephen for several hours after he had died
