TRACY BEAKER ENTERTAINS EVEN MORE YOUNGSTERS WITH A BRAND NEW DVD RELEASE 'THE BEST OF ME' Building on the hugely popular success of the Tracy Beaker July DVD release; Tracy Beaker - Movie of Me, Right Entertainment is thrilled to announce a brand new DVD release, Tracy Beaker – The Best of Me, which is released on 24th December 2005 priced £12.99. Tracy Beaker – The Best of Me, includes the six of the best-loved episodes from the first Tracy Beaker television series, which is the BBC's highest rating children's show and one of the most popular children's brands of recent times. The new Tracy Beaker DVD is set to delight fans of the award-winning BBC series.

Tracy Beaker is a frizzy haired 12 year-old with a short fuse and wild imagination. Based on the book by Jacqueline Wilson, one of Britain's most popular authors who has sold over 20m novels in the UK alone and is the most borrowed children's author from public libraries in the UK, Tracy Beaker is much loved by young girls who revel in her particular brand of bedlam. In Tracy Returns, the Dumping Ground braces itself for the return of Tracy Beaker after her latest fostering goes wrong. As soon as she's through the door, Tracy tries to elbow her way to the top of the pecking order but she hasn't reckoned on the new girl Justine Littlewood who has already nabbed her bedroom and her best friend. Tracy escapes to the park where she bumps into Ben, a mystery boy she met on the streets and invites him home for tea. The Dumping Ground is in uproar because of a plague of mice. Against the rules, Tracy smuggles Ben into the house and a game of cat and mouse ensues.

In Tracy's Birthday, Tracy is she's desperately excited until she finds out that she has to share it with that weed, Peter Ingham. Tracy is determined that Peter won't ruin her elaborate party plans but with Duke and Mike in charge of the games, things soon start to go wrong. Tracy goes on a disastrous outing with an elderly foster couple who clearly can't keep up with the Beaker pace. But when they express an interest in Peter, Tracy is horrified - just because she doesn't want them, doesn't mean Peter can steal them from her!

DVD extras include an interview with Tracy Beaker herself – Danni Harmer, and an introduction to each episode.
