Virgin Records releases Katy Perry's 'Waking Up In Vegas' on June 8th.  The new single is taken from her debut album (One Of The Boys). It has Katy getting up, shaking the glitter off her clothes and singing of a fun filled, yet debauched, night out in Las Vegas.

Katy marked her entrance last summer with the anthem "I Kissed A Girl" which instantly established her as the brightest new pop artist to emerge in 2008. Some may have questioned whether Katy Perry could follow up that success but with her hit singles "Hot n Cold" and 'Thinking Of You' she proved without a doubt that she was no one hit wonder. Along the way she has dived into a cake, flown onto our screens on a giant Banana and become a fashion icon.

All four songs come from her outstanding debut album 'One Of The Boys', a sharp and witty pop-rock gem filled with candid tales of neurotic ex-boyfriends, crazy road trips with friends and figuring out who you are along the way. The album has sold over 400,000 in the UK to date.
