Rapper Eminem is fuming after he fell victim to thieves in Los Angeles - the star's hotel room was raided while he attended the MTV Movie Awards.

The Stan hitmaker performed at the show on Sunday but stormed out following a prank by British funnyman Sacha Baron Cohen, which saw the semi-naked comedian land in his lap.

The star's misery continued as he returned to his hotel room to find thousands of dollars of his belongings had been stolen, according to the New York Daily News.

The paper reports a  $60,000 (£40,000) diamond necklace and Eminem's personal laptop were among the items taken.
