Fabolous and Jay Z Tour

Gearing up to release his highly anticipated album Loso’s Way, Brooklyn rapper Fabolous will be joining fellow Brooklyn rapper Jay Z on tour this Summer.

Fab will open for his former Def Jam boss on seven of the dates while getting ready to head on his own small tour later in the summer to promote the album.

Fab had been expected to join fellow Def Jam artists Rick Ross and Juelz Santana on tour this year but decided to embark on his own tour which will see him perform at various small venues throughout North America and possibly Canada.

Remy Ma’s Lawyer Avoids Jail Time

In order to avoid a one year prison sentence, lawyer Ivan Fisher, the legal representation of Rapstress Remy Ma settled an outstanding debt of $68,000 in back taxes. By pleading guilty Fisher dodged a sentence but has to pay $68,000 plus a $10,000 criminal fine.

Nas talks Ten

Even in the midst of a highly publicized split from his wife Kelis who is pregnant with the rappers first child, Nas is talking about his tenth album.

Having worked closely on a new album with Damien Marley, Nas is ready to head back into the studio to work on his tenth album and the follow up to his controversial ‘Untitled’ album which dropped last year.

This tenth problem will be his third release at Def Jam. His collaborative effort with Damien Marley will hit shelves in the fall.

Banned

Rapper Willy Northpole, hailing from Arizona has had his video banned by BET due to its depiction of women.

Speaking to a local newspaper, his manger Tiffany J said on the decision “..it kind of hurt, because they've shown a lot worse," she says. "I don't know how they can say we're portraying something unwholesome, because the video ends with the man marrying one of the women. I feel our video is tasteful. We were kind of offended. My first thought was 'Every Girl in the World' can get played, and we can't?"

BET recently apologized for the performance by Drake and Lil Wayne at the BET awards two weeks ago after pre-teen girls were brought out on stage while the due sang the hit ‘Every Girl in the World.’

Drake has also come under fire for his new video ‘Best I Ever Had’ shows him coaching a scantily clad basketball team.

Willy Northpole is a protégé of Atlanta based rapper Ludacris.
