Crooked I Spelling Mishap


West coast rapper Crooked I had an unforeseen problem to deal with a recent addition to his tattoo collection.

The rapper who had Slaughter tattooed on his left arm had to deal with the letter ‘H’ missing from the intricate piece of art.

Slaughterhouse is the  name of the so called rap super group that Crooked I is a member of along with Joell Ortiz, Royce Da 5 9 and Joe Budden. Their debut album is slated to drop in September.

Doctors Tell Drake to Sit Down


Rising star Drake who was to head out on the road this summer with Lil Wayne and Young Jeezy as one of the headliners on the America’s Most Wanted Tour, has been told to relax and take things easy.

Doctors are concerned that if the Toronto rapper fails to take their advice, an injury to his torn ACL, Anterior Cruciate Ligament, will cause further issues for him.

Upon the advice of his medical team, Drake has opted to stand down from the extensive Summer tour throughout the US. He is to be replaced by fellow Young Money entertainer, Brooklyn based rapper Nicki Minaj.

Snoop to work alongside Another Legend

There is something about Snoop Dogg that appeals to the revered artists of the previous musical generations.

Having worked with a string of big names in the past, the rapper will be working alongside singing sensation Anita Baker as she gears up to release her seventh studio album.

According to Billboard, Snoop will collaborate with the Sweet Love singer on a rendition of Curtis Mayfield’s ‘Give me Your Love’ track on the album which is slated to hit stores in early 2010.

50 Heads out on the Road

Rapper 50 Cent who is releasing a new book in early September entitled The 50th Law will be heading out on a five city book tour to promote the self help book.

Joining 50, born Curtis Jackson on the tour, which stops at the following cities New York City (Sept. 8), Washington D.C. (Sept. 9), Atlanta (Sept. 10), Royal Oak, Michigan (Sept. 11), and Los Angeles (Sept. 12) will be the co-author Robert Greene, the best selling author of 48 Laws of Power.

The book is alleged to document the success that the Queens rapper has had over the years and how he has achieved his success and maintained his focus in making great financial decisions.
