Looks like C-Murder is living up to his name after jury delivers ‘guilty’ verdict, Jay Z gives Oprah a guided tour of Marcy, Snoop’s language upsets the UK viewers of his reality show and UK bodybuilder mad at Game.
C-Murder found Guilty
A jury in New Orleans found Corey Miller aka C – Murder guilty of second degree murder yesterday after the jury left to mull over evidence and testimonies on Monday afternoon.
However, Judge Hans Liljeberg, has over ruled the verdict citing that the 10-2 was not a fair judgment after reports came back to the courts that a jury member may have changed their decision so as not to prolong the case.
The charges brought against Miller stem from an incident at a nightclub in 2002 when the sixteen year old Steven Thomas was shot dead after an altercation broke out between the two men. C-Murder has constantly declared his innocence in the case.
Oprah Visits Brooklyn
Having always appeared to avoid inviting rappers to sit on her couch on her show and speaking out about their lyrics and portrayal of women in their songs and videos, Oprah Winfrey looks like she may have succumbed to the charm of one of Hip-Hop’s elite, rapper Jay Z.
This weekend, the power couple made a trip to Marcy projects where the media mogul was given a guided tour about the projects that Jay Z where Jay Z was raised and which he often raps about in his rhymes.
The impromptu visit was alleged to be set up in order to secure footage for the Oprah Show which will welcome Jay Z as the first Hip-Hop guest. The show will examine the rise to fame of Brooklyn’s most prolific rapper and how he puts money back into his community.
Snoop Comes Under Fire by UK Audience
Viewers of Snoop Dogg’s reality show, Father Hood, after Ofcom received multiple complaints about the language used by the rapper in the show which gives viewers an inside look to his family life.
Ofcom and 4Music which airs the show both apologized for allowing the show to be aired. Ofcom said on its ruling that the reason the show was allowed to air was down to ‘a result of human error.’
Ofcom is an independent regulator for broadcasting and telecommunications in the United Kingdom and has been in effect since 2003.
UK Muscle Man Mad at Game
Talks of rapper. The Game playing the role of Mr. T in the up and coming A Team movie which is said to star Liam Neeson is said to be getting under the skin of various Mr. T hopefuls, including a UK based body-builder who goes by the name of Tiny Iron.
The 28 year old who has protected some of music’s A-List clientele whilst in the UK touring said in a recent interview that in comparison to him, Game resembled a finger and should not be a contender for the role which has garnered the attention of celebs such as Ice-Cube and the Compton rapper.
The role has yet to be cast for Mr. T.
