Bruno Mars

Bruno Mars

The long awaited debut album from Bruno Mars is finally here. Released on Monday the album seems a sure thing for the number one spot in this weekend’s album chart.

Firstly, I think I’m in love with Bruno Mars. So even if half the tracks on this album were rubbish I’d probably still be his number one fan. But I can honestly say there isn’t one rubbish song on there. Promise.

The anticipation surrounding this album was huge, and it certainly doesn’t disappoint. The album includes the most romantically perfect lyrics from the 25 year-old but also shows another side to him.

Runaway Baby shows a much more upbeat side to Mr Mars, real name Peter Gene Hernandez, and will undoubtedly have you tapping your feet (I’m doing it right now!). Lazy song is another one of his catchy tunes that you could easily stick on repeat and same with Talking to the Moon. These two tracks especially provide very easy listening; although so does the whole album.

After co-writing some cracking tracks, including Nothing on You by B.O.B and Billionaire by Travie McCoy, as well as having two number one singles of his own, all in one year, it looks like Bruno Mars is set for a long stint in the music industry.
