Released June 1

I know it makes me sound like a bit of a wet blanket, but I bloody love Kelly Clarkson… and her latest single, I Do Not Hook Up is quite possibly the most epic man-hating song I’ve ever heard.

Okay, so it might not be on the same level as You’re So Vain, but anyone who knows Kelly’s music will be pretty familiar about how empowering her singles can make you, as a woman feel.

I mean lets face it, she sings about all the things we wish we could say, and I Do Not Hook Up screams out to all those women who are tired of men expecting a quick fumble and one night stand, and would rather “go slow” and savour the thrill of the chase.

So, if you we at all worried about finding a man to frolic around with during the warm summer nights; and we’re possibly considering settling for that bloke down your local pub, just because he’s the best offer you’ve got… think again, because you’ve got Kelly Clarkson now, and she’ll never let you down.

Rating: 5/5 - I think she’s my actual musical hero
