Lady Ga Ga - Just Dance
When I heard the name Lady Ga Ga, I thought this track would be just another one of those female rappers who really get on my nerves trying to act all gangsta’ - think Princess Superstar and Lady Sovereign. Although, when I heard the song on the soundtrack to Make It Happen, I knew I had to have it in my life!
It’s a catchy track that looks set to set dance floors alight up and down the country this summer, I know after a few glasses of wine I’ll be pulling out my best hip-hop moves and parading around the club like I’m the next big thing.
With guest vocals from Akon, there’s no doubt that this lady has already had a foot on the ladder before she even released it… note to other breaking artists: get yourself a big name to sing with you on your debut.
The song lyrics fit perfectly with the Coyote Ugly-style storyline and I can tell you, when it comes on in the FF office, I want to leap on the desk and start body-popping all over the shop… But don’t worry, I wont. Now that would be a youTube delight.
Overall the song is bound to be a big hit this summer and I can imagine oodles of high-school kids using the soundtrack as the theme for their GSCE dance exams. I know I’ll be ripping it apart on my local dance floor in no time.
