The Killers are perhaps one of the few Indie bands that I actually like and Human is the track which could rival the epic status of Somebody Told Me.

Listening to it on the radio I have to admit that I initially thought that the record was by Snow Patrol as it has that similar sound, but this only goes to show how versatile Brandon Flowers' voice really is.

I'm not afraid to admit that I usually shy away from music like this because of my distaste for 'the scene' and not being a stick thin girl in skinny fit jeans or my grandma's old dress but this song is going to be on constant repeat on my iTunes regardless of whether I fit into the scene or not.

The introduction of the song builds brilliantly into the chorus until the last line; “and I’m on my knees looking for the answer…are we human or are we dancer?” gives way to the full band and some odd Mario Gameboy music in the background.

Overall, it’s a song that I can see tearing up dance floors across the country…even if it’s only me who is tearing them up! It takes an incredible song to replace The Killers famed Somebody Told Me but I think this could just be it… whether you’re at work, in the car or in your bedroom getting ready for a night out; you can’t help but crank up the volume and tap your feet (not on the accelerator if you’re driving though!) and sing your little lungs out.

Brilliant!
