British guitarist Jamie Hince and American vocalist Alison Mosshart, otherwise known as The Kills release Satellite, the introduction to their fourth studio album Blood Pressures.
The track features Alison's beguiling and melancholy vocals alongside a dub influenced guitar with additional vocals from The REV Gospel Collective.
Following critical acclaim and mainstream success for their last album Midnight Boom, Blood Pressures is highly anticipated amongst both fans and critics and judging by the single, they are unlikely to be either disappointed nor blown away.
Satellite is testament to the fact The Kills are consistently good and relatively unchanged by either commercial success or A list marriages (Hince is Mr Kate Moss).
By the same token, Satellite is not a track to make you sit up and listen which leads us to hoping that it isn't the best Blood Pressures has to offer.
