Slipknot
Slipknot, well, what the heck can you say about this band other than OH.MY.GOD.
Headlining the main stage was made for them, and for a hour and 45 minutes, the nine masked men trashed the stage in their usual way, as well as finding time to spin around in the air for good measure.
It was my first time seeing the band, and I’d looked forward to it for most of the day, so when we finally got down to business with the boys, it was everything I’d hoped for as the sun finally set on Donnington Park and the darkness crept over the stage as the set reached it’s climax.
Wait and Bleed, Duality, All Hope Is Gone, Psychosocial and Dead Memories littered the show, whilst the highlight - and what all the fans had been waiting for - came during Spit It Out, and everyone watching the band crouched down on the floor in front of Cory Taylor and friends, before leaping up on his say so, just in time to see Joey Jordison perform his party piece on as he played his drums upside down.
Brilliant.

I was lucky enough to be at the front for Slipknot..without a doubt, the best live performance i've seen (and i've seen a lot!).
Slipknot actually told us all to "sit the f**k down" ... READ MORE

Their set was absolutely brilliant. FYI, everyone sat down, then jumped up during Spit It Out, not People = Shit
