Drake 'Nothing Was The Same'

Drake 'Nothing Was The Same'

Drake is back with his third studio album 'Nothing Was The Same', following the huge success of his 2011 offering 'Take Care'.

With some brilliant artists on-side, Drake manages to deliver an exciting R&B record that dips into multiple genres with ease and style.

That's not to say there's a whole host of collaborations on the record. Drake is, for once, mostly standing alone, and proving he has what it takes to keep your interest for over an hour of what is mostly his voice. As a matter of fact, the album's least exciting moments come from those rare guest slots (bar Jhene Aiko - she adds a much-needed female voice).

Sounding more angry at the world than ever, it's refreshing to see the star with an air of confidence and cockiness about him we haven't really seen before - at least not on this level.

Standout songs 'Own It', 'From Time' featuring Jhene Aiko and 'Hold On, We're Going Home' are ones you'll want to listen to over and over.

This compilation solidifies Drake as a force of the industry and the rap genre.

'Nothing Was The Same' is out now.
