Opening with Albania's Shakira/Anastacia soundalike Hersi, you've an instant favourite as we get ever closer to the annual event.

This year's crop of Eurovision Song Contest contenders are - as is to be expected - a mixed bunch.

Belarus deliver on the camp side of things with their hilarious tune 'Cheesecake', which should see some points come their way from those who tune in to have a good time.

A voice that may sound familiar is that of Ruth Lorenzo - Spain's entrant - and finalist on The X Factor UK quite some time ago. Singing in both Spanish and English, her ballad is a pretty one, but may leave her incapable of truly standing out.

The United Kingdom finally have a modern and interesting entry in Molly - someone who's rapidly gaining a fanbase across Europe as each day goes by. Her song, 'Children Of The Universe' is one that really could make its way into the hearts of those in other countries who are willing to pick up the phone, but will politics stop her from soaring when she should really be amongst those at the top?

Greece brings a touch of rap to the competition with Freaky Fortune featuring RiskyKidd on 'Rise Up', but though this would sound good in the clubs we're used to today, we're not sure it'll warm the cockles of all of Europe.

Can-Linn and Kasey Smith team up for a fantastic pop tune, and the pair represent Ireland with 'Heartbeat', and Iceland's 'No Prejudice' - performed by Pollaponk - is unlike anything else offered.

Singing about 'Cake To Bake', Latvia get silly and it's moments and tunes like this that are what Eurovision should really be about. Ridiculousness given a huge platform for a showcase.

Romania's Paula Seling and OVI sound great together on 'Miracle' and their chemistry on stage may see them impress, but if they fall flat it could see them trail to the bottom of the pack.

Albania, Greece and Belarus will be getting my points. The UK would, but there's a rule against that, remember?

The Eurovision 2014 album is out now.
