Anna Corcoran

Anna Corcoran

Originally from Merseyside, Anna graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor in Music. Since then she has been performing extensively nationwide to discover her individual sound.

Tori Amos, Sarah McLachlan and Joni Mitchell are her musical influences and it is evident in her sound. Her voice is authentic, smooth and euphoric.

Her debut single The Show, was picked up by BBC Radio 2 & 6Music. She has been compared to Laura Marling and Bridie Jackson & the Arbour. Janice Long from BBC Radio 2 comments on the song by saying 'The more we play it, the more we love it!'

With the help of her peers Robert Vincent (Acoustic guitar), Etienne Girard (Double Bass), Tom Cowley (Drums) and Stephanie Kearly. (Chello)

Her debut single The Show is a slow-burning track with a charming primitive opening and sultry vocals.

Anna has been successful enough to be nominated for Female Artist of the year at the Liverpool Music Awards. You can download The Show now on Itunes.
