Nathan Sykes has finally released the first cut from his forthcoming debut solo album, titled 'More Than You'll Ever Know'.

Taking to Twitter to reveal the track, it's not going to act as Nathan's lead single, instead being a teaser of what's to come.

With fans already speculating that the new tune could be about his once-relationship with Ariana Grande, and the feelings he still has for her, we're deciding to instead focus on the well-written lyrics, vibe and funk of the track.

It is here that Nathan's vocals are more resonant and memorable than ever before. Though he was a force to be reckoned with during his time with The Wanted, it's on solo stuff that he truly shines because he has the floor all to himself.

Soul music is where Nathan flourishes, with a raspy tone gliding across impressive and slick melodies in this retro-esque track that's immediately going to score him whole legions of new fans.

Infusing his pop roots into the record, the 21-year-old has matured far past his years and comes across here as a complete professional. An effortless and passionate falsetto is shown off throughout and we couldn't be more impressed.

'More Than You'll Ever Know' is available now as a free download.
