Single ‘Cupid’s Chokehold (Breakfast In America)’ Out April 30th ALBUM – AS CRUEL AS SCHOOL CHILDREN ‘Cupid’s Chokehold’ is the brilliant single by US sensation Gym Class Heroes - set for release on April 30th through Decaydance/Fueled By Ramen. The track is written by Roger Hodgson, formerly of Supertramp and Rich Davies of Supertramp and uses the hook from the 1979 hit song, ‘Breakfast In America’. Featuring guest vocals by Patrick Stump (who also has a cameo role in the video), it tells a story of the eternal quest for true love. ‘Cupid’s Chokehold’ is the third track to be lifted from the current album, AS CRUEL AS SCHOOL CHILDREN, which came out last year and also features production by Patrick Stump and Sam Hollander (Arrested Development).Rightly recognized as true pioneers of live hip-hop, the Geneva - New York based Gym Class Heroes has won popular and critical acclaim for kicking out genre-busting jams that seamlessly meld rap, rock, pop funk, R&B, and anything else that happens to strike the musically voracious outfit’s fancy.
