Chris Cornell Shaves on Stage

Rocker Chris Cornell shocked fans with a hair-raising encore at a recent New York City concert - he shaved his guitarist's head on stage.

The former Soundgarden frontman had nearly finished his show at Manhattan's Webster Hall on Friday when he returned on stage with a pair of clippers.

His sidekick Yogi Lonich made the crowd roar with a three-minute guitar solo while his long mane fell to the floor.

One concertgoer tells the New York Daily News, "He shaved (his guitarist) completely bald - and that guy had at least 12 inches of hair!”
