World Tour 2008 including UK Arena DatesMercury Records are delighted to announce the imminent release of the new Def Leppard album, “Songs From the Sparkle Lounge”. Britain’s greatest arena rock band are also set to play a series of headline shows and select festivals across Europe in summer of 2008 – as part of a 2008 World Tour“Songs From The Sparkle Lounge” is Def Leppard’s first new studio in six years (2002’s “X” being the last). It sees the band back to their very best. From debut single “Nine Lives” (featuring country music star Tim McGraw) to the huge chorus of “C’mon C’mon”, from the brooding balls out rock of album closer “Gotta Let It Go” to the perfect melodies of “Only The Good Die Young”, “Songs From the Sparkle Lounge” shows what has made Def Leppard such an enduring act. Classic pop rock songs and instantly memorable melodies all underpinned with driving rock. The album was produced by Def Leppard. The 2008 World Tour will kick off in mid May with two shows in the fast expanding rock haven that is India.
