Iggy Pop Plans Christmas Album

We know that Christmas brings out the cheesy tunes, but Iggy Pop is planning on giving Christmas classics a punk rock makeover this year!

The rocker is planning to release a record of holiday tunes after he decided to embrace a new musical direction with an album of jazz standards already in the works.

At 62, he insists he's finally ready to get into the holiday spirit with a rock 'n' roll version of his fans' favourite Christmas songs.

He tells FemaleFirst "I am a real threat to cover White Christmas this year. I'm warning you now: I'm ready, cocked and loaded."
