Pearl Jam are going to have one hell of a debut film after Almost Famous director, Cameron Crowe has signed up to chronicle their 20 years as a band.

Crowe is reportedly working on a documentary consisting of existing concert, backstage and studio footage with the band.

Band member Mike McCready says, "We're building up to our big 20th anniversary... We're trying to do a movie with Cameron Crowe with all of our existing footage."
