Newlywed Hince Dedicates Song To Moss

Rocker Jamie Hince dedicated a song to his new wife Kate Moss as The Kills performed in New York on Monday (08Aug11).

The guitarist, who married Moss in Britain last month (Jul11), has resumed his tour with bandmate Alison Mosshart after enjoying a honeymoon with the supermodel.

The Kills took the stage at music venue Terminal 5 for one of Hince's first shows since becoming a married man, and he gave a shout-out to the blonde beauty by dedicating the duo's song DNA to her.

The track features the lyrics, "Love, love, love till you get enough/Dance, dance, dance till there's no one left to hound you."

Hince married Moss in St. Peter’s Church in Gloucestershire, England on 2 July (11).

Slash & Sixx Devastated By Lane's Death

Rockers Slash, Nikki Sixx and Steven Adler have paid tribute to former Warrant star Jani Lane, who was found dead in a Los Angeles hotel room on Thursday night (11Aug11).

The body of the musician, 47, was discovered at the Comfort Inn hotel in Woodland Hills. No official cause of death has been released.

Lane's rock peers were stunned by the tragic news, and have taken to their Twitter.com pages to express their grief over his passing.

Bret Michaels tells fans, "We'd like to offer our deepest condolences to the family of Jani Lane regarding their loss."

Sixx states, "I just heard the sad news about Janie (sic) Lane. So hard to swallow when people have kids. RIP", while Adler adds, "Jani Lane, you were a great talent. The world will miss you. R.I.P. my brother."

In a post on his page on the microblogging site, Slash writes, "Just heard about Jani Lane. What a shame. RIP man."

Lane, who fronted the Cherry Pie hitmakers between 1986 and 2004 and briefly reunited with the group in 2008, was married three times and is survived by a wife and four children.

Michaels Sues Over Cruise Ship Deal

Rocker Bret Michaels is suing a cruise operator over allegations bosses used "a fraudulent scheme" to get him to reduce his fee for two agreed performances.

The Poison star signed up to play a pair of gigs in November (11) on a luxury liner off the coast of Miami, Florida for a reported $750,000 (£468,000) fee.

After he received an initial payment of $250,000 (£156,000), Michaels alleges the firm began complaining about poor ticket sales in a fraudulent bid to lower his fee.

He filed suit against bosses at Shoreline on Monday (08Aug11), blaming the promoter for failing to fulfil "contractual obligations".

Michaels is seeking damages, court costs and attorney's fees, according to TheWrap.com.

Hince Worried About 'Mental' Moss Ahead Of Wedding

Rocker Jamie Hince worried about Kate Moss' state of mind as she prepared for their wedding last month (Jul11) after the supermodel turned "mental" as she fretted over the details of the big day.

The catwalk icon went into a panic as she put the finishing touches to her summer nuptials and The Kills star was more than a little concerned.

Just days before the wedding, Moss told Vogue magazine, "I don't know how people do it. I've had big birthday parties, and I've thrown parties for other people, but this is a completely different thing. It's the Met Ball (fashion industry gala)!

"Because you have to look at every piece of cutlery; the details are intense. And then you wake up thinking about the ballet shoes for the girls (bridesmaids); is the satin ribbon right? I've gone mental.

"Jamie thinks I'm mad, asking, 'Are you gonna be all right? After the wedding, I'm hoping you'll get back to normal!'"

The couple tied the knot in St. Peter’s Church in Gloucestershire, England, where Moss' daughter Lila was christened, and later hosted a reception for hundreds of guests at their nearby country home.

Slash And Blige Collaborating

Former Guns N' Roses Star Slash is teaming up with Mary J. Blige for an unlikely collaboration.

The rocker has been in the studio with drummer Brent Fitz and bassist Todd Kerns to work on new material for his next album.

Now the legendary guitarist has revealed he's enlisted the help of R&B queen Mary J. Blige for a track.

In a post on his Twitter.com page, he writes, "Just finished a session w/ (with producer) Mike Clink engineering on a track w/Mary j Blige. Sounds killer!"
