Kasabian release brand new single ‘Man of Simple Pleasures’, on May 6th on Columbia Records.
Kickstarted by the portentous jangle of a tambourine, Kasabian go over all buoyant with this psych-tinged new single, taken from last year’s No.1 selling album ‘Velociraptor!’.
Written and produced by Sergio Pizzorno, it’s an open-top summer track with flashes of Spanish guitar, shot through with the band’s unique gift for reinterpreting the past.
‘Velociraptor!’ - the fourth album by the quartet - came out last year and was universally heralded as 'their best LP to date.'
Voted Britain’s Best Band at the recent NME Awards, Kasabian have just finished touring the US and are gearing up for a busy festival season, playing to the crowds at T in The Park in July and Reading and Leeds in August as well as taking on a stream of European dates, including Ibiza Rocks.
The band will play an intimate, secret show in Soho for Absolute Radio on April 30th, to be broadcast on the station at 10pm on May 9th. Kasabian play: July
