‘Tear The Roof Off ‘is the powerful punchy pop rock floor filler from Manchester lads The Dress Down Kids, put together with the hunger and drive to make serious waves in the music scene this summer.
Jammed with infectious tunes already under their belts such as 'She Takes Control', 'Balls Deep', and 'Stone Cold'.
The sound is a joyous harvesting of many influences, coated in melody and sung with urban-pop-soulfulness.
Recently the band have had the help from Lisa Stansfield’s producer in her famous studio Gracielands and have worked on new material at the legendary Blue Print studio where everyone from Elbow to Rihanna have dropped by.
2011 was the summer that saw The Dress Down Kids take to the stage as headliners of the Lanjaron Festival to over 1,500 people.
Their explosive performance captured the audience and they then went on to headline Manchester Academy 3 alongside the likes of Delilah and Sway.
