Actor Michael Fassbender is the latest Hollywood star to be ridiculed in a score of emails leaked following a massive cyber attack at Sony Pictures.

Now concerning Sony's attempts to make a movie about the life of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, Academy Award-winning screenwriter Aaron Sorkin has been shown to lobby for Tom Cruise to take the role of Steve in the movie and even showed his initial disdain and bitchy side when he was told that Fassbender was favoured for the role.

"I don't know who Michael Fassbender is and the rest of the world isn't going to care" he replied to Columbia Pictures Chairman Amy Pascal and movie producer Scott Rudin.

It was Rudin who has been exposed earlier this week as calling Angelina Jolie a "minimally talented spoiled brat" in another email, also leaked by the group which are calling themselves 'The Guardians Of Peace'.

Pascal's inbox is the one in which things seem to have been taken, where it's also revealed that a number of high-profile actors have been considered for the Jobs role.

Leonardo DiCaprio turned it down and Christian Bale was mentioned, but Sorkin only had eyes for Cruise, saying "This used to be an event." and "This is insane" when Fassbender's name was brought up.

He did however concede in the end, writing: "F**k it. He's a great actor whose time has come."

Pascal replied: "That's where I ended up," before Sorkin went on to say: "Yeah, if the movie's good, he'll be on the cover of everything and get nominated for everything".

Since Sony's attempts at making the movie have now collapsed, the script has been picked up by rivals Universal.

The leaking of internet emails continues to embarrass Sony, who announces that it isn't going to be taking any chances this Thursday with the red carpet premiere of The Interview.

Starring Seth Rogen and James Franco as a producer and television host, the duo are tasked with assassinating Kim Jong Un - the leader of North Korea - and it's already caused much anger in real-life in the country.

There's also speculation that North Korea itself is behind the huge cyber attack, and the studio has gone on to announce the film's stars won't be eligible for interviews.

Extra security is also to be added at Thursday's event.
