Millions of pounds will be dedicated to hiring "supernannies" to deal with disruptive children, the Prime Minister will reveal.

A number of child behaviour professionals will show parents how to cope with their wild offspring.

Currently parenting orders make them go to sessions - however the Government desires something done before they reach that level.

The Home Office is quoted as saying in the Mirror newspaper: "This is about nipping the problems of bad parenting and child behavioural disorders in the bud.

"There is plenty of evidence to show parents want help and they don't mind if it is from outside the family but of course not everyone can ring Jo Frost on Supernanny."

Tony Blair and the Home Secretary John Reid are holding a meeting with "experts" at Downing Street today.
