Emma Bunton is “honoured” to Win Celebrity Mum of the Year Award

Mum of two, Emma Bunton, has been awarded the coveted crown of Foxy Bingo Celebrity Mum of the Year by the British public.

The former Spice Girl turned Radio presenter fought off stiff competition for the title from a host of famous mums to come out on top with almost a third of the public vote.

The blonde beauty, known worldwide as ‘Baby Spice’, took the number one spot ahead of famous celeb mums like Coleen Rooney, Amanda Holden, Holly Willoughby and former Spice Girls band mate, Victoria Beckham.

Emma Bunton juggles her career as a radio presenter and singer with being a mum to her two boys - Beau Lee Jones, five, and two-year-old Tate Lee Jones.

The last 12 months have been really busy for Emma who took to the world stage to perform with the Spice Girls at the London Olympics closing ceremony, and taking over on the Heart 106.2 breakfast show.

Emma said: "I couldn't ask for more this Mother's Day than to have my two boys around me and this award on my mantelpiece! The best thing about winning Foxy Bingo Celebrity Mum of the Year is that it's chosen by YOU, the British public.

“I'm so honoured that thousands of you picked me, thank you to everyone who voted! This award is extra special because this is the most important thing - being a Mummy! So here's to you fabulous Mums this Mother's Day."

Second place was awarded to mum-of-one Michelle Heaton who, after a turbulent year, has recently rekindled her music career with Liberty X in The Big Reunion.

Now in its 12^th year, Celeb Mum of the Year has become an institution in its own right and 2013 saw a record number of votes cast. Over 10,000 people flocked to FoxyBingo.com to select the celebrity mums who they thought deserved to take the title home and Emma.

In third place was Steps singer Claire Richards who won the nation's hearts during her stint in Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year. Myleene Klass came fourth in the competition, winning the public over after a very tough year following the split from her husband, and the nation’s favourite TV presenter and previous winner Holly Willoughby came fifth.
