Blake Lively

Blake began her career at the age of 11 when she appeared as the Tooth Fairy in the 1998 film Sandman, which her father directed.

She didn’t appear again in films until 2005, when she took the role of Bridget in The Sisterhood of The Travelling pants, something she filmed between her junior and senior years at high school. She would go on to reprise her role in 2008 in The Sisterhood of The Travelling Pants 2.

In 2007 to took the role of Serena van der Woodsen in hit TV series Gossip Girl. This propelled her into the A-list of Hollywood stars and she still stars in the show today.

In 2010 she starred in The Town which was directed by Ben Affleck who also starred in the film. She was cast as Jeremy Renner’s character’s sister, Krista Coughlin and it was one of her more gritty roles and the cast won two awards for their performances.

In 2011 she acted alongside her new husband, Ryan Reynolds, in the Green Lantern and was nominated for a Teen Choice Award for her role as Carol Ferris.

She now stars in Savages as O, the shared girlfriend of pot growers Ben (Aaron Johnson) and Chon (Taylor Kitsch) who is kidnapped by a Mexican drug cartel.

The film has received good reviews so far and sees Blake play a much grittier role than she has before.
