Study Reveals Britons Still Want Brad & Jen Back Together

A new study has revealed that following a study from over twelve months ago, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are still the celebrity couple Britons want to see back together; shortly followed by Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel and J-Lo and Marc Anthony.

In light of the recent marriage break up between Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez, the UK’s leading discount and voucher code website have re-visited a study from 2010, in which they asked Britons which celebrity couples they would like to see get back together.

The new study of 1,402 Britons has revealed that over twelve months on, the celebrity couple the respondents still want to get back together is Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston; with 87% stating this is the couple they would most like to see reunited.  

In 2010, the same study of 1,196 different respondents revealed that 89% stated that they mostly wanted to see Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston reunited.

Following Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston was pop star Justin Timberlake and his long term girlfriend of more than four years, Jessica Biel; with 81% of the respondents to the study agreeing.

Third on the list, with 78% of the respondents saying they would like to see them get back together were recently separated Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony.

According to the results, the top ten celebrities Britons would most like to see get back together is as follows (multiple-answer question):

1. Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston - 87%
2. Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel - 81%
3. Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony - 78%
4. Preston and Chantelle Houghton - 74%
5. Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey - 69%
6. Katie Price and Peter Andre - 65%
7. Crystal Harris and Hugh Hefner - 62%
8. Lauren Pope and Kirk Norcross - 58%
9. Dawn French and Lenny Henry - 46%
10. Cheryl Cole and Ashley Cole - 41%

When the respondents were then asked to explain their reasons for wanting the celebrity couples to get back together the majority, 43%, of those who admitted to wanting Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston to reunited said it was because of their ‘chemistry’; whilst 18% said it was because they ‘felt sorry’ for Jenifer Aniston.

A fifth, 19%, of the respondents who agreed that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel shouldn’t have broken-up said they felt this way because of their ‘good looks’.

Of those who wanted to see Katie Price and Peter Andre reunited, 39% said it was ‘for the sake of the children’ compared to 14% who stated that it was because of their ‘chemistry’.
