Hollyoaks hunks may be adorning the walls of teenage girls bedrooms across the UK but it seems their mother's have a bit more mature taste in men. Ron Dixon? Mmm! Curly Watts? Yes please!

Knowing that mum's would rather see real men Pot Noodle have created a new calendar featuring some of soaps finer men as you have never seen them before.

Widely acknowledged as the top soap heartthrobs of yesteryear Coronation Street's Curly, Brookside's Ron and Emmerdale's Butch Dingle - aka Kevin Kennedy, Vince Earl and Paul Loughran - will satisfy the appetites of women hungry for some hunk and a trip down memory lane in 2009.

Curly poses suited and booted as James Bond while Ron appears as every woman's dream, a sexy Fireman. Butch, meanwhile recreates the hunky mechanic pose of the 1990s.

A spokesperson for Pot Noodle, Cheryl Calverley, says "We’re sure this calendar will be flavour of the month for Britain’s soap loving mums."
