David Beckham and Holly Willoughby may both be happily married, but that doesn't stop them being the most desirable people to wake up to this Valentine's Day, according to LateRooms.com The leading discount hotel specialist asked consumers who they would most like to wake up to on the romantic day, revealing the nation's most desired celebrities - along with those they would rather kick out from under the covers.
David and Holly scored 31% and 28% respectively while poor newly single Katie Price, aka Jordan, is named and shamed as the least appealing celebrity to wake up next to with only 1% of votes.
Even Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall beat the ex-glamour model by bagging twice as many votes from amorous consumers.
Olly Murs certainly still has the 'X Factor' with 17% of the ladies asked voting him as their number one Valentine's Day 'wake-up
partner'.
The nation's most famous bride-to-be, Kate Middleton, is level with X Factor favourite CherylCole tying the two beauties in at third place.
Kate's future husband and king was less popular with female voters, securing only 7% of the votes, narrowly beating Prince Harry, but ending up in the bottom three all the same.
And while Becks rides high as a romantic icon, poor pregnant Posh Spice scores only 3% of the votes, beaten by the likes of Lady GaGa and Katy Perry.
Top three female celebrities:
Holly Willoughby 28%
Katy Perry 24%
Kate Middleton/Cheryl Cole 17%
Top three male celebrities:
David Beckham 31%
Olly Murs 17%
Robert Pattinson 15%
Brits seem to be a nation of dreamers - not only are we fantasising about who to wake up next to, but over a quarter of respondents said they would most like to celebrate Valentine's Day with a luxury hotel stay in Paris.
Lynda Matthews, Offline Marketing Manager, commented: "We wanted to find out how Brits would like to spend Valentine's Day,
and not surprisingly, a stay in a luxury hotel topped many people's lists.
"We may not all get our dream five star stay in Paris, but I'm sure we'll show our romantic sides this year and make it a Valentine's Day to remember."
She added: "We'd also like to congratulate Holly and David for earning their places as the nation's most highly desired celebrities!"
