Valentine's Day is a movie that you really should catch, it's just come out on DVD, and sees Garry marshall return to the romantic comedy and bring together a great ensemble cast that includes Julia Roberts, Bradley Cooper, Taylor Lautner, Ashton Kutcher, Jessica Biel and Jennifer Garner.
The movie takes a look relationships for the marriage that spans a lifetime to falling for your best friend... oh and if you meet Mr Perfect it's probably too good to be true!
- Friendship Love (Played by Ashton Kutcher & Jennifer Garner in the movie)
Penny & Neil
Neal and I went to primary and secondary school together. We were part of a big group of friends during secondary school & grew up as just friends. I guess I knew Neal was "the one" towards the end of secondary school, I was sat next to him on the bus once and thought "I am going to have you as mine one day!"
I went to college and he went to do an apprenticeship, we did our own thing but often there would be some sort of drunk phone call on a Saturday night from him.
I finally got up the nerve to ask him out via text of course, the easier dating method at 17! I asked him to the cinema, he replied "sounds great, who's going?" Eight years on and we're getting married next March.
Our relationship is still fun but built on trust and understanding- it's been easy for us I suppose as we already have a shared history so there aren't too many awkward moments of deep dark secrets coming out! I also think we have developed cooperation during our relationship.
We recently re-fitted our kitchen and it really tested working together. Neal would suggest we do things one way, I would say "I don't understand" and look pitiful, he would give in and do it my way so he didn't have to try and explain his way again!
It is great that we work at things together & we have our own hobbies so we have our own time but we now that we will have a fab time together in one another's company. We have never lost how to laugh together.
Harriet Hunt & Darcy Eastwood
We were at the same school together but only started talking when I left, Darcy made the first move by saying hi and then started talking to each other on the phone etc... We only saw each other a while after that when I came back to hand in some coursework and it was a little awkward because we had become really close since we had seen each other last...

Darcy left that school not long after that and then came up to mine and we started going out that same day...
The first month or two were full of arguments and rough patches but now everything has sorted itself out and the relationship is stable...
We've now moved in together and couldn’t be happier, we never argue (just sulk) and we never get bored of each other... Every day is better than the one before because we are really happy together...
What makes it great is that it’s like any good relationship but there’s always new excitement in it..
We have now been together for 7 months and 8 on the 29th of this month.
We think it will last a long time because, we just click together, and make each other laugh, we know each other weaknesses and flaws and what we are good at, and we just love each other and make each other really really happy...
