The Olympics are about to begin and that means competitive spirit and lots of muscle and flesh on show! Not surprisingly, beach volleyball has won the men over as the sexiest sport in the Olympics.
The survey was conducted by Cupid.com and found that 35 per cent of UK men find beach volleyball as the sexiest sport.
For women, there’s nothing quite sexier than a man running around a field for 90 minutes flexing those muscles. This was reflected when 33 per cent of UK women said that football was the sexiest sport for them.
When asked what the sexiest nation was, 43 per cent of women stayed true to what they know by putting the UK as their top answer.
Men, however, voted the UK the least Sexy nation and instead gave Sweden the top spot with 23 per cent.
The Olympics covers so many sports, so there’s bound to be a few that are considered a down right turn off.
The biggest turn off for men was women weightlifters, with 22 per cent of the vote. Female shot putters were the second biggest turn off with 11 per cent and with 8 per cent of the vote were female boxers.
Typically, it’s thought that women like a big tough man, but the results of the survey show that the biggest turn off for women is men who box, with 14 per cent of the vote.
Surprisingly, the second biggest turn off is weightlifting, with 11 per cent of the vote and then shooting with 6 per cent of the vote.
Considering David Beckham didn’t make it on to the Olympic football team this year, I’m sure that many women will be changing their opinions on the sexiest Olympic sport. If only Tom Daley was about 10 years older.
