Taylor Kitsch

Taylor Kitsch

The 31-year-old has been all over our screens this year but his started his career in 2006 when he starred in one episode of TV series Godiva’s.

In 2006 he became well-known for his role as Tim Riggins in TV show Friday Night Lights, which was based on the 2004 film of the same name.

In the same year he had small roles in the films John Tucker Must Die and Snakes On A Plane.

His breakout movie role came in 2009 when he played Gambit in X-Men Origins: Wolverine alongside stars such as Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds.

In 2012 the Canadian born actor starred in John Carter, taking the lead role as John Carter. The Disney film was a massive disappointment and famously flopped at the box office.

Despite the films flop, Taylor still said he was tremendously proud of the film and that the box office sales didn’t reflect him as an actor.

Taylor also starred in Battleships this year which saw him star alongside Liam Neeson and Rihanna, but this also flopped at the box office.

Today, Savages hits the big screen and, luckily, is has received positive reviews so far. To be honest, even if it wasn’t a great film, we’d still go to see Taylor’s beautiful face!

He’s got a few more projects in the pipeline and is rumoured to be starring in the new Need for Speed film which is due out in 2014.
