What Really Stops UK Women Enjoying their Sex Life?

The love life of millions of UK couples is being ruined by their beds, according to a new survey.

The national survey asked what the biggest interruptions were and issues with the bed appeared to be one of the biggest problems when couples were trying to get intimate. Among the results a rattling bed frame and uncomfortable mattress stopped 40% of the women asked enjoying their sex life.

Other issues included the phone ringing and the kids disturbing parents trying to have intimate time. In Wales, a quarter of the people who took part complained it was car alarms going off outside that disturbed them.  Whereas a surprising five in one hundred people in the North West of the UK admitted that it was their own spouse walking in that stopped them getting intimate with another person!

Results from the study which was conducted by Furniture Village also revealed that the younger generation could learn a thing or two on from their elders when more than half of the respondents aged 22-25 said that both a lumpy mattress and rattling bed-frame was their biggest interruption. Whereas the bed wasn’t a problem for their parents, it was the phone that disturbed them. After years of intimacy they have learnt that investment in a quality bed pays off in more ways than one!
