It seems that the modern woman is growing in confidence as she is the one who is making the first move when it comes to romance.

The site launched in the UK a few months ago and exclusively works with 3-5* hotels to ensure its users are getting the best value for money as well as luxury.
Research that the company conducted into its site users have shown that 60 per cent of the bookings made through the site are by women.
This shows that when it comes to romantic rendezvous, it’s women who are making the first move and taking the initiative when it comes to romance.
The co-founder of the site, Thibaud d’Agrves, says that this shows UK women as more confident than other European women.
He says, “It’s an intriguing dynamic, it suggests women in the UK have a greater level of confidence and are happy to take the lead in a relationship.”
When looking at the French version of the website, it shows that the French are more likely to split the responsibility, whereas British women have no problem taking the lead.
Thibaud d’Agrèves says, “It’s apparent that today’s woman definitely knows what she wants and she has no qualms about taking charge of the purse strings.
“It’s a well-known stereotype that women are the more thoughtful Sex and so, unlike their male counterparts who may have previously opted for a more basic hotel for a bit of impromptu romance, the ladies are raising the stakes by selecting luxury hotels with excellent service and facilities, and overriding the negative connotations associated with daytime stays.”
